Your Thoughts Can Paralyze You
People often equate power with the physical plane of existence. If you have enough money, you’ll be safe from a life of poverty. If you can bench 400 pounds, you can win any physical confrontation and be safe from harm. If you are in perfect health, you’ll outwit mother nature and live to be 120+ and be safe from a loss in your quality of life. Yes, our physical possessions, strengths, and health can give us a tremendous sense of power in shaping the life we live.
But all this "physical power" pales in comparison to the power we derive from our emotional and mental states of being.
Example: benching 400 pounds is a feat most people will never be able to accomplish. By comparison, speaking the words “I love you”, “I forgive you”, “I’m sorry”, and so on are trivial and virtually everyone on the planet has the potential to say these things.
And yet they don’t.
People can live 80+ years on this planet and yet (because of some real or imagined fear), never take the first step towards a major dream or goal. A person as strong as Mr. Universe may find themselves alone, vacant, and unfulfilled on the inside. There are people who are strong enough to persevere through the hells of war and yet not let someone love them because they believe they are not good enough.
And on the flip side, there are are people like Nick Vujicic. Born without arms or legs, his passion, heart, and spirit have carried his message out to millions upon millions of people. There are also people diagnosed with terminal illnesses, conditions, and diseases, who, by their mere intention and focus, miraculously heal. Sure, these people may be outliers from the statistical averages, but it does happen and they do exist. These people exhibit true power.
So what’s the difference? Perhaps a computer analogy would be helpful.
The World’s Most Powerful Computer
Imagine the physical plane is the world’s most sophisticated super computer. Thousands upon thousands of machines all linked together and processing an unfathomable amount of information each and every second. Question: how useful would this super computer be if it was infected with a virus that spit out nothing but gibberish and consumed all of it’s resources.
When hold in negative thoughts and feelings in our psyche, it’s like a computer virus that cripples a machine and renders it utterly useless…
And here’s the tragedy. Your brain is like a super computer, no matter what your IQ is and no matter what your grades were in school/college. You have billions of neurons and the ability to processes billions of bits of information each and every second unconsciously. If you could only tap but a fraction of that potential, you could be just as smart, influential, and successful as anyone else on the planet.
But not if you have a virus in your mind. Not if you have a stain in your heart. Both will keep you in a state of fear and cripple and otherwise amazing human being.
Clear Your Mind, Wash Your Heart
The best way to unlock your full potential is to start where your true power lies: your mind, heart, and spirit. Doing so is not always easy, but like anything in the physical plan, it just takes time, discipline, and a willingness to go after it.
Need Help?
I’ve been working with EFT and Matrix Energetics now for a few years and have had a tremendous amount of success in helping lots of people get over and beyond their mental and emotional barriers. I’ve used these techniques to help students in college wanting to reduce test anxiety, athletes trying to improve their performances, people with physical ailments, etc. While I’m not a medical doctor or a ‘healer’ (e.g. my disclaimer), I’ve had a lot of success in helping people and the results are encouraging to say the very least.
I’m looking to get back into this genre more regularly and looking to work with a few people every week over the phone. If this interests you, leave a comment below. At the very least, I can help you get unstuck in your thinking and get you moving into the direction of your goals and dreams.
